PRINCE MOHAMMED BIN SALMAN ROCK
Rock Art Ciotola | Movimento Artistico
Year: 2019
In this contemporary work, created with the oil on canvas technique and measuring 37.6 x 47 x 1.5 cm, Maestro Raffaele Ciotola portrays, according to the "Rock Art" stylistic signature, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. A prominent figure in Saudi politics and a sports executive, a member of the Al Saud royal dynasty and son of the current sovereign Salman, he holds the position of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, representing the first in the line of succession to the Saudi throne.
Already recognized as the youngest Minister of Defense in the world and Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs, the Prince is also the founder of the "Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation," an entity established with the noble goal of supporting young generations in need.
Maestro Raffaele Ciotola includes him among the emblematic subjects of his artistic research within the "Rock Art" movement, which welcomes exclusively personalities of international prominence. This aesthetic operation is conducted with full respect for the role and social prestige of the portrayed figures, offering a contemporary vision that enhances their humanity without ever undermining their institutional authority.
